(I didn't put any primer on this model before painting).I want to have smooth looking, evenly painted 3d prints like the one in this Youtube video: I sanded one of the sides of this 3d print and the paint still comes out uneven and messy. I'm aware that some prints with have uneven lines and looked up some of the steps to take before painting (such as sanding and priming). (I'm a bit of a novice so bare with me if I'm missing any details) I have an ender creality 3d printer using PLA filament.
